Error description

  • If you remove an OLE object from a user defined text attribute
value the database file associated with it (dd*) is not removed.

If you do the same using the system defined Object Text
attribute the associated file will be removed.

Both attributes are otherwise defined in the same way, they have
the same settings for "Generate History" etc.

The database settings for "Save OLE objects in attribute
history" and "Merge duplicate OLE objects on the server" are not
    active.

    To recreate:

     - create a module and some objects
     - get the ID of the module and find the associated
m<ID>.mod/current.ver in the database file system
     - insert an OLE into an object text value and save the module
     - refresh the current.ver and take note of the new file named
    "dd*.*.dtc"
     - create a new text attribute in the module and insert an OLE
    into one of its values
     - save the module again, refresh the current.ver and take note
    of the new "dd*.*.dtc" file
     - remove the OLE previously inserted into the Object Text
     - save the module, refresh the current.ver, and note the
removal of the first "dd*.*.dtc" file
     - remove the OLE previously inserted into the new attribute
     - again save the module, refresh the current.ver, and this time
note that the second "dd*.*.dtc" has not been removed
