APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.1.1 client may hang
  when opening an
  assembler program if they are too many unresolved macro
  definition.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  - Edit an assembler program in LPEX without having imported its
  macro definition.
  

Local fix

• Problem can be solved by generating a macro file and import it
  in RDz preferences:
  
  1) create a macro file using command:
  /usr/lpp/rdz/bin/generateHLAsmMacroFile.sh -fileName
  /u/user182/asm_macro91.dat -macroPath USER182.PMRS.ASM.MACRO
  -verbose

  2) Import the generated file on the LPEX preferences:
  LPEX Editor > System z LPEX Editor > HLAsm Parser > User Macro
  File
  
  3) Restart RDz
  
  4) Edit the assembler program in LPEX editor
