IBM z/OS Explorer - v126.96.36.199 Description : When submitting a JCL, the job position is displayed in "My Jobs" list whereas the same job has an "ACTIVE" status in "Retrieved Jobs" list. Customer is expecting the position displayed in both lists.
When a job is displayed under more than one RSE JES filter, the label describing the job can be inconsistent. This has been the case from day one but, when the position attribute was introduced, the inconsistencies became readily apparent.
The JES subsystem creates a new JES job instance for each job queried even if there are other JES job instances representing the same job. That means when one job instance is refreshed, the other jobs don't automatically get updated. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V188.8.131.52 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
