Rational Developer for System z - RDz - 188.8.131.52 Issues are observed with the PLI editor after increasing the line length for PLI programs to over 72 characters. These are reproducible via the following steps: 1) Right-Mouse click in PL/I Editor. 2) Select Preferences -> "PL/I" -> "Editor" Under "Margins" alter to eg Column: "100". 3) Set MARGINS(2,100) on the applicable property group. 4) In the source select the END key and the cursor jumps to the last character of the default column value ie 72 and not the last character as expected. 5) After adding a comment greater then the default column 72 margin its then observed that when activating the QuickOutline dialog(Ctrl +O)the options in the applicable popup dialog do not replicate the outline view. 6) Alternatively adding a string variable above the column 72 once again the QuickOutline output is incorrect in relation to the Outline view.
There is no known workaround at this time
