Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.1.2 Description : This happens when the preference "Apply only capitalization options" is set in the "Save Actions" of the Cobol editor with Formatter activated. The use of RPPz product can lead to enter some characters after column 72. However, at each save of the code with the preference above, characters after column 72 are shifted on the right.
CobolIndentationFormatter was throwing an unexpected malformed exception.
Needed to fix the CobolIndentationFormatter class to handle the case when there are characters after column 72 while we are formatting COBOL source code. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V184.108.40.206 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
