PI67480: RESULTS GALLERY DOESN'T ISSUE MESSAGE WHEN RESULTS DB USER ACCOUNT IS LOCKED

APAR status

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Configure Oracle as a Results Database and make sure Test
    Connection works and results are populated in it
    
    2. Lock the account or cause the account to be locked that RIT
    uses to access the result database
    
    3. Run a test suite in RIT so the results will be published in
    the results database
    
    4. In RIT goto the Results Gallery to view the results
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    
    RIT should issue an error that the results database can't be
    accessed because the account is locked
    
    ACTUAL RESULTS:
    
    No error message is issued and no results are available in the
    results database
    
    WORKAROUND:
    
    Do the test connection under Server Settings in Project Settings
    to verify if the account is locked before running
    a test suite that populates the results database.
    
    If the account is locked then unlock the account
