APAR status

Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDZ client 9.1 is not
    highlighting variables in PL/I module. When pressing F2 Key,
    the editor does not display any information.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When a PL/I source program is being edited, some PL/I editor
    functions, such as highlighting and reference resolution, seem
    to be disabled.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Modified the PL/I parser to re-parse a modified program in a
    faster manner. Modified the PL/I editor status line widget to
    indicate when a re-parse is active.
    
    The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
    IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.2 Fix Pack which
    is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
