APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Running RDz 9.5 and Debug Tool 13.1, the code coverage shows
an incorrect report when it is opened as PDF, HTLM or Workbench
report. There are some lines which are mistakenly covered
(green bar) and lines which are mistakenly not covered (red
    bar).

Local fix

  • Open the code coverage report as File report.

Problem summary

  • Workbench code coverage reports can be incorrect when entry
points don't have any executable lines attributed to them. The
first zero line entry point offsets all hit or not hit
attributes by one. It also creates an erroneous entry point in
the report with the name of module.

Problem conclusion

  • Code coverage was fixed to handle this use case.
