Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z - RDz
When you create a Menu manager submit action you are not able
to take advantage of the Notify or Locate job actions that are
available with the RDz submit.

Local fix

  • Use the RDz submit

Problem summary

  • When a JCL Variable Substitution Menu Manager submit action is
created, it does not provide the ability to locate the submitted
job.

Problem conclusion

  • This capability was not available in the Menu Manager JCL
Variable Substitution action.  It has now been modified to add
the ability to locate the submitted job.

The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.5.1.1 Fix Pack which
is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
