PI59721: RIT CAN'T FIND KEYSTORE WHEN PROJECT MOVED TO DIFFERENT LOCATION

APAR status

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Created a .JKS file using the P12 file
    2. Create a folder named  SSLResource under project root
    directory and
    placed the JKS file inside it.
    3. In Physical View, created Identity store
    4. Go to Logical view
    5. Open the physical resource of the service;
    6. Select SSL tab and select .jks file from dropdown for the
    client identities
    7. Open the Schema in send request action and then select
    WS-Security tab
    and add Signature
    8. Copy the project to another directory
    9. Open the project in RIT
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    
    The project works correctly with no erorrs
    
    ACTUAL RESULTS:
    
    The error "An error occurred whilst compiling the SOAP
    Message:Crypto error, keystore
    may be missing." is displayed
    
    
    WORKAROUND:
    
    Reconfigure the keystore for the copied project

Problem conclusion

  • A fix for this issue was provided in version 9.0.0.1 of Rational
    Integration Tester.
