    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    01.In some cases an 0C4 abend may happen during internal
       special list processing.
    02.This error happens when adding or updating elements with
       LRECL greater than 80.

Problem conclusion

  • 01.The allocation for the return parameters must match the
       expected return parameters in the RAM definitions. The RAM
       code has been changed to ensure that the proper storage is
       allocated for the number of return parameters specified in
       the RAM definitions.
    02.The IBM RDz Endevor RAM needs to allow for elements of LRECL
       greater than 80. The RAM code has been changed to provide
       the ability to allocate the temporary dataset based on the
       definitions in the Endevor TYPE for the element.
