Error description

  • Get/Take message options or browse options set on the physical
transport are not used when accessing the stub queue when stubs
    are configured to do S&PT.

This means that if the user needs to use MQGMO_CONVERT in order
to read their message, for example, they have no way of telling
the stub that this is how the message should be read from the
    stub queue.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    1. Specify GMO_CONVERT as part of the Get/Take message options
    in the transport.
    2. Do a recording and publish a simple MQSTR message, specifying
    UTF8 encoding(ccsid = 1208).
    3. Observe that the ccsid of the recorded message has changed
(value dependent on the client platform).
    4. Create a stub that will stub the same message.
5.Start the stub and publish the message.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:

Because GMO_CONVERT has been specified, the QM has converted the
message and in this case, it's reflected in the ccsid being
    changed, as in recording.

    ACTUAL RESULTS:

The ccsid of the stubbed message is still 1208 because the
GMO_CONVERT option has been ignored and no conversion of the
    message has taken place.

    WORKAROUND:

    None
