Rational Developer for System z - RDz - PLI editor does not handle EBCDIC '3F', UTF-8 x'1A' (SUB) in comments None of the source code following the SUB control command contains any PLI syntax highlights. The source after the SUB is all in black.
Deleting the SUB control character will allow the parser highlighting to work, or use the LPEX editor.
RDz's PL/I Parser treats the (SUB) character like an (EOF) character, which causes parse and display problems.
Modified the PL/I parser to correctly handle (SUB) characters. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V22.214.171.124 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
