Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDZ client 9.1.1 receives the following pop-up error message when refreshing a z/OS Project after resources defined in this project have been deleted from RDz or outside RDz. "Problem Occurred: 'An error occurred when removing EFS resources. Internal error occurred when removing EFS resources...'." The following error is displayed in the .log file: "!ENTRY org.eclipse.rse.ui !MESSAGE *** RSEClient#command(GetMemberAttribute): CRRZI0354E Find a data set member failed. CRRZI0355E Name not found."
When members of an PDS were deleted on the host with ISPF and the member resources in the RDz z/OS Project view were refreshed, the refresh action on the eclipse resources in the z/OS Project view got resource locks of the containers of them, and the client attempted to get a resource lock for deleting the resource before the refresh action released the locks. So, the error messages about confliction of resource locks were logged.
The RDz client was fixed to delete resources asynchronously in the refresh action to wait for releasing the resource locks. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V126.96.36.199 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
