Error description

  • The following sample code is incorrectly marked as an error by
    the PL/I editor in Rational Developer for System z and presents
    the following message when hovering over the code, "Unable to
    resolve reference to SQLCA"
    
    EXEC SQL INCLUDE SQLCA;
    
    ABC: PROC REORDER;
    DCL AASQLCA LIKE SQLCA BASED(XAA100.P_SQLCA);
    AASQLCA= SQLCA, BY NAME;
    END ABC;
    

Local fix

  • Ensure the SQLCA include file is in the property group's SYSLIB
