Error description
Rational Developer for System z (RDz) provides a REXX program called RDZSTRT for dynamically allocating SCLM project library concatenation when a customer installation has multiple SCLM projects. However, there was change in v9.1.1 that is causing only one parm to be passed to the REXX program, the user s ID. The Project and Alternate Project are missing from the parameter list.
Local fix
Problem summary
When using SCLM Developer Toolkit in Rational Developer for System z (RDz), customers may create a custom ISPF allocation exec. Since TSO ISPF gateway was introduced (8.5) project name and alternate are not passed as parameters to this exec.
Problem conclusion
Since the introduction of the ISPF TSO gateway for SCLM Developer Toolkit, only one parm is passed to the REXX program, the user s ID. The Project and Alternate Project are missing from the parameter list. This fix allocates an ispfalloc.props file that contains these parameters, in the relevant workarea on the HFS. The users allocation program can read this file to determine the parameters. Reusable ISPF sessions must be turned off for this to work. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.1.1.4 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
