Error description

  • n RIT, when we 'overwrite expected message', the caching
    involved in
the background is lost ,say a value A is stored in a variable in
    step 1
and the same variable is called in next step 2 using a tag. This
    means
that declaration of a variable part is lost, due to which test
    cases
    fail.

    Steps to reproduce :

    Open the project WellsFargoTags
    Open the test case Add2then3then4
Run the test case , it will pass
Now in the console , click on first Recieve Reply message
Click on Overwrite Expected message option
    Save on closure
Rerun the test , it fails as the tag "Result" is removed from
    the reply message
Recreate tag by quick tagging the "Result" field it will pass
    again
Note that "Overwrite expected Field does not cause this issue"

    * In the previous versions of Rational Integration Tester, *
    * when using the 'Overwrite Expected Message' feature to *
    * repair an incorrect expected message, store actions would be *
    * lost from the expected message after overwriting. This issue *
    * is now fixed.                                                *
