APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5.7 bean is not
    found when searched for using the Instance interface. No
    exception is thrown. This is due to a change in behavior in
    8.5.5.7 that this APAR corrects.

    The customer uses the Instance class to inject a bean, however
    the wrong bean or no bean is found.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The way bean classes are hashed was modified to include
    overlooked information.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.5.5.9 and 8.0.0.12.  Please refer to the
