Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.1

The message FEK201i states that the RSESERVERLOG command was
processed, even though the command is directed to the RSE
    Daemonlog not the server log.

This problem occurs when setting the trace to 1. If you
set the trace to 2 then the expected FEK201i is given.

For example, if you enter the command below:
    F rsed,APPL=RDL 2
    You will see this message:
+FEK201I RSEDAEMONLOG Command has been processed

However, when you enter this command:
    F RSED,APPL=RDL 1

    You receive this message:
+FEK201I RSESERVERLOG Command has been processed

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
01.Operator command rsed, appl=rdl 1 outputs wrong message of
"FEK201I RSESERVERLOG Command has been processed", as
"RSESERVERLOG " should be "RSEDAEMONLOG". The command itself
       is correctly applied to RSEDAEMONLOG.

Problem conclusion

  • 01.RDz server code has been updated to correct the message
       output.
