• When using the Synopsys PrimeTime Shell (pt_shell) with IBM
  Rational ClearCase  dynamic view on version 8.0.1.x can cause
  the Linux host to hang when exiting pt_shell or to crash in some
  instances.

Problem conclusion

• The ClearCase MVFS filesystem was updated to correctly handle
  specific file options used by the pt_shell, to eliminate
  problems which occur when the file is closed.
