Error description

• Problem Description: In Rational Developer for System z version
  9.1, when a local preprocessor is used in a property group for
  PL/I source that is not part of a remote z/OS project, the
  include file within the source is not found and therefore, any
  reference from the include file is not resolved by the real time
  syntax checker. You can verify it when you open the source from
  the Remote Systems view, right click in it and select Source >
  Preprocessor Statements > Identify Using Configured
  Preprocessors
  

Local fix

• Create a remote z/OS project and add the PL/I source and include
  file to the project
  

Problem summary

• When a local preprocessor is used on a remote file that is not
  part of a remote project, include files in the local SYSLIB are
  not located.
  

Problem conclusion

• Modified the preprocessor code to make sure include files in the
  local SYSLIB are located.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.1.1.2 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
