APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDz does not highlight
  the Do Statement included in  an IF/ELSE Statement using PL/I
  Editor. This happens after adding a comment line in the Do
  statement. Double click on do statement, the end is not anymore
  highlighted after the update.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When performing an incremental parse, RDz's PL/I parser poorly
  handles changes to the PL/I program structure due to changes in
  comments.
  

Problem conclusion

• Modified the PL/I parser to correctly handle changes to the PL/I
  program structure due to changes in comments.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.1.1.2 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
