APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If Rational Integration Tester Agent (RIT-Agent) is terminated
  while it has HTTP/HTTPS/TCP stubs running, the routing rules
  remain active in Rational Test Control Panel (RTCP).
  RunTests processes exit shortly after RIT-Agent.
  The stubs disappear from the Environment view.
  
  The rules can prevent new instances of the stubs from working as
  they divert traffic away from them.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  
  Manually delete the rules in the RTCP agents page.

  * If you kill the Agent process the RunTests processes appear  *
  * to exit fairly quickly once they realise their Agent has     *
  * gone but still the stub appears to be running.               *

  * The stub status in RTCP takes a while to change from "Ready" *
  * - it then disappears.                                        *
  *                                                              *
  * The routing rules remain though so when you re-start the     *
  * stubs they might not work.                                   *

Problem conclusion

• A fix for this issue was provided in version 9.0.0.1 of Rational
  Integration Tester.
