Error description

  • In Test Factory, in some circumstances choosing a new test in
the Task Monitor after closing the Message Differences Window
will result in results from another task to be displayed in the
    Console window

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    1. Create several test cases with a request/response and execute
    them.
Executed test cases will be listed in Task Monitor area of the
    Test Lab module.

    2. Click on a test case (test case A) in the Task Monitor area.
Note the test case A will be highlighted.

    3. Click on a log from the console area to launch comparator
    window.

    4. Close the Message Differences Window by clicking on the [X]
in the upper right corner of window

    5. While the Message Differences Window is closing, click on a
different test case (test case B).

    6. Test case B will be highlighted in the Task Monitor area

    7. Check the test case name displayed in the Console area

    EXPECTED RESULTS:

At step 7, Console will display log for test case B

    ACTUAL RESULTS:

At step 7, Console displays log for test case A. When theTest
Case B is selected in the Tast Monitor area, the log displayed
in the Console area is for A.

    WORKAROUND:

Wait for the Message Differences Window to completely close
before selecting a new test in the Task Monitor window

    * When the machine running RIT is under moderate to heavy CPU *
    * load, it's possible to get the Task Monitor and Console in *
    * Test Factory to be out of synch. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
