Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Property File Based Configuration * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A Property File Based Configuration * * (PFBC) file might fail to apply. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** A recent (8.5.5.5) parser change introduced a problem where types that have default values noted in the file and are not Strings can be incorrectly processed. For example: isolatedClassLoader=false #boolean, default(false) might be incorrectly processed, and as a result, the file might not apply.
Problem conclusion
The parsing code is updated so the problem no longer occurs. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.6. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
