APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.1.1, BMS design
  tab may be empty when using enhanced edit feature to modify a
  member.
  
  - From CARMA repositories view, connect to the server
  - Find the BMS file to modify
  - right-click on it and select menu Edit with > BMS Map Editor
  - BMS Editor is displayed but Design tab is empty
  

Local fix

• Modify the BMS member using menu Extract to > Target dataset

Problem conclusion

• BMS Editor was fixed to support only LF (Line Feed) as same as
  both CR (Carriage Return) and LF (Line Feed) as end of line
  character.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.2 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
