PI36710: In RDz, Open Member and Navigate to Data set menu items are not enabled consistently while editing a JCL in LPEX editor

Error description

• In Rational Developer for System z (RDz), Open Member and
  Navigate to Data set context menu items are not enabled
  consistently while editing a JCL in LPEX editor. Here is how you
  can recreate this scenario:
  - connect to a remote host
  - open a JCL with the LPEX editor
  - select and highlight a dataset or a member, and right click,
  and you can see both menu items enabled.
  - right click on a comment line or a blank line, the menu items
  are disabled.
  - now select any valid line with a statement or highlight a
  dataset or member and then right click, the menu items are still
  disabled.
  

Local fix

• close JCL and reopen it in LPEX editor
  

Problem summary

• RDz was disabling the NavigateToDataset and
  OpenBrowseCopyInclude actions when the selected string failed a
  validity test but then never re-enabled the action when the
  validity test passed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The actions are now re-enabled when the test passes.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.0.1.4 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
