  • Rational Developer for System z v8.x.x and v9.x.x LPEX and COBOL
    editor
    show incorrect indentation when editing source that contains
    x'15', the EBCDIC(NL) control character.
    
    The display varies depending on location and number of x'15'
    (NL) characters
    
    Configuring the x'15' character representation with
    Menu >> Window->
               Preferences->
                  LPEX Editor->
                     Appearance->
                        Host Characters
    does have effect but does not resolve the issue.
    
    The EBCDIC x'15' is a so called non roundtripable characters
    that is not handled correctly by the RDz editors
