Error description

• In Rational Developer for System z (RDz) V9.0.1, the Editor
  shows false warning when CICS LINK is split by continuation
  line. The false
  warnings appear under both the LPEX and PLI editor. The
  following examples are being provided for illustration.

Local fix

• No workaround for CICS LINK statement that extend beyond 80
  characters in length
  

Problem summary

• PL/I real time syntax check shows false warning when parts of a
  syntactically valid EXEC CICS statement span more than 1 line.
  
  PL/I editor should not flag tokens of a syntactically valid EXEC
  CICS statement even if they span more than 1 line.
  
  This APAR is being closed FIN with concurrence from the
  submitting customer. This means that a fix to this APAR is
  expected to be delivered from IBM in a release which is being
  developed at the time that the APAR was closed. The latest
  release of the product to exit development at the time this
  APAR was closed was: Rational Developer for System z V9.1.1.1.
