APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Unable to save Results database connection parameters in RTCP
  when using a database URL of longer size. Our current Database
  URL is 270 bytes in length and there seems be an issue with RTCP
  using a URL of
  that size. It will eventually save it after a few attempts but
  the overall behavior is not appropriate.
  Max is 255, customer is pushing over 270 characters, will not
  accept the URL.
  

Local fix

• Work around for now is to shorten the URL, but would like this
  to be fixed in the future.

Problem conclusion

• A fix for this issue was provided in version 8.7.0 of Rational
  Integration Tester. Results database URLs of up to 512
  characters are now permitted.
