PI23029: SCHEMA VALIDATION TAKEN FROM DOCUMENT CAUSES "CANNOT FIND THE DECLARATION OF ELEMENT.... <NON-ROOT>"

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Where a SOAP message is validated by schema and the schema
  definition is taken from the message there may be a failure to
  locate the schema and hence errors indicating that the type
  definitions cannot be found.  This can sometimes be worked
  around by manually selecting the source of the schema.
  
  However on other occasions this work around merely changes the
  validation failure to indicate that the declaration of a child
  element cannot be found.  An example of this has been privately
  shared with the product development team.
