Rational Developer for System z V18.104.22.168: Use of of SPECIAL-NAMES causes the COBOL and LPEX editor to issue a "Misplaced construct" syntax warning. Also the use of SPECIAL-NAMES causes the following error when attempting to use Software Analyzer: CRRZV0009E The following files contained syntax errors and were not processed. Below is an example of the code that is flagged in the editor: 000009 SPECIAL-NAMES. 000010 CLASS BSCLASS-JA IS '1' 'J' 'Y' <-- Misplaced Construct 000011 CLASS BSCLASS-NEIN IS '0' 'N' 000012 DECIMAL-POINT IS COMMA 000013 C01 IS TOP-OF-PAGE 000014 CURRENCY SIGN IS '$'.
There was a defect in the RDz COBOL parser that could not handle a mix of environment clauses and other special names clauses within the special names paragraph.
