Rational Developer for System z 9.0.1 - RDz - IMS Web service generated PLI converter uses builtin function already declared as variable. The WSDL/XSD used to create new service implementation (top-down IMS SOAP GATEWAY) contained an element/variable with the same name as built-in function in RDz generated converter. The batch processor (xsebatch) generated PL/I converter program declared the WSDL variable but also used a PL/1 built-in function with same name as previously declared variable. This caused problems at run-time.
Rename variable in RDz generated converter code/program.
Variables with the same name as Built-in functions could not be used in RDz generated web service code due to name conflicts.
Variables with the same name as Built-in functions can now be used in RDz generated web service code. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V18.104.22.168 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
