Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM WebSphere Application Server Version * * 7.0, 8.0, 8.5.5 users of the NCSA * * (National Center For Supercomputing * * Applications) Access Log * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: NCSA access data log is not returning * * expected value for directives. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** NCSA access data log is not returning expected value for case sensitive directives (i.e. %u and %U).
Problem conclusion
The HTTP Channel NCSA access log was modified to return the proper directive values. To enable this new behavior, set the HTTP Channel custom property 'UseCaseSensitiveKeyMatcher' to true. Default value for this is false. Information on how to set HTTP Channel custom properties can be found here: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSAW57_8.5.5/com.i bm.websphere.nd.multiplatform.doc/ae/rrun_chain_httpcustom.html? cp=SSAW57_8.5.5%2F3-19-6-413&lang=en The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 7.0.0.35, 8.0.0.10, and 8.5.5.4.
