  Description :
  Customer reported that with RDz v9.0.1.2 Client and v9.0.1 Host,
  the host connection takes about 20-25 seconds whereas with a
  v8.5.1.4 Client, it takes only 3 seconds to connect to the same
  server.

Problem summary

• With RDz v9.0.1.2 Client and v9.0.1 Host, the host connection
  takes about 20-25 seconds whereas with v8.5.1.4 Client, it takes
  only 3 seconds to connect to the same server.
  

Problem conclusion

• RDz client failed to get some miner information defined in the
  server modules.
  Now, it can get the miner information successfully.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.0.1.3 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
