APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Access to IBM Rational ClearQuest or the special Unix Rational
  Lifecycle Package (RLP) keys will be blocked if both license
  types are served on the same license server. This also applies
  to ClearQuest and Rational Lifecycle Package with ClearCase
  (RLPwCC) keys.
  
  The special licenses needed to allow access to RLP/RLPwCC
  products on Unix hosts have an incorrect version ID, which is
  the same version ID as the 'classic' ClearQuest license. Since
  the license server only stores ONE set of license metadata for
  each 'version' of a given license, the first license for a given
  product version in the file is the one that will be used.
  
  As a result, the following conditions are possible:
  
  Standard ClearQuest license above special RLP license in license
  file: No ClearQuest host will be able to access the keys.
  
  RLP ClearQuest license above standard license in the license
  file: No 'standard' ClearQuest licenses can be checked out.
  
  THere is no workaround at this time.
  
  
  When attempting to reduce the number of IBM Rational License Key
  Server hosts, combining the special Unix keys for with existing
  ClearQuest licenses will block access to one or the other set of
  keys
