Error description

When working in the IBM Rational ClearCase/Cadence integration,
applying a label through "Manage Hierarchy" fails.
When descending into the hierarchy and choosing "label" the
label dialogue appears however the "Label CellViews" list is
always empty.


WORKAROUND:
Apply the labels outside of  "Manage Hierarchy"

* Using the Rational ClearCase-Cadence integration, there are  *
* times when a user may select a Cadence object in the         *
* Hierarchy Manager, or the ClearCase Work Area Manager (WAM), *
* and select a ClearCase operation (e.g. Label, checkout, and  *
* others) and the resulting dialog box may not show any items  *
* that were selected.  The user would then not be able to      *
* perform the desired operation.                               *

Problem conclusion

A fix is available in ClearCase versions 8.0.0.11 and 8.0.1.4
