Error description

• Rational Developer for System z - RDz - 9.0.1 CARMA Endevor
  Drag/Drop of Element into Package editor generates 'null' SCL
  entry.
  When dragging/dropping a CARMA Endevor element into the package
  editor pane, the 'ADD' dialog appears where you select the
  package command you want performed on the element.  After
  completing the 'command' dialog, the new command for this
  element appears in the editor pane. However, when you high-light
  the new command, the Source Preview pane does not contain the
  SCL for this command.  If you now open this package using the
  LPEX editor, a 'null' entry appears instead of the expected SCL.
  

Local fix

• After new command is displayed in package editor pane,
  high-light new command and hit <Edit>.  When 'command' dialog
  appears with command details populated, hit <OK> and SCL will be
  properly generated.
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED: Endevor users who use the drag/drop method to
  populate their packages as part of the package editor support.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When support was added to show CARMA
  Endevor package comments when opened with Endevor Package
  editor, an update in the drag/drop path was missed.

  handle the new method for working with Endevor package comments.
