APAR status

Error description

• Rational Developer for System z - RDz
  Intermittently, a user attempting to check-in a file via the
  RDz SCLM DT interface will not be able to because the option
  is greyed out.
  
  When a user checks a file out via SCLM DT gui and then changes
  the file extension and tries to check it back in the option
  to check-in is disabled.

  Local fix:
  Users have to Cancel/unlock the file from SCLM, which will
  cause a warning message stating that the file has changed.
  Then delete the file from the client machine, but with a
  copy saved as a different name.
  Next, check the file back out from SCLM, and the add back the
  changes and check back in.

Local fix

Problem summary

• SCLM DT was failing to identify a cached member correctly which
  caused the failure of the 'check in' option to display.
  

Problem conclusion

• The SCLM DT 'Check-in' option should be present where
  appropriate. An underlying cache resolution procedure has been
  adjusted that should correctly identify the member and its
  status so that the menu option is displayed as it should be.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.0.1.4 Fix Pack which
