PI05811: Administrative actions missing when Rational License Key Server Admin console and web client locales do not match

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After logging in to the IBM Rational License Key Server
  Administration and Reporting console, the various action buttons
  may appear to be unresponsive or provide no options.
  
  This has been reported when:
  - The Administration and Reporting console has been installed on
  a Japanese version of the operating system. (Double-Byte
  character set locale)
  - The user  attempting to administer the license servers is
  accessing the console via a host that does not support that
  language.
  
  The only current workaround to this issue is to ensure that the
  web client is running the same OS language as the administration
  console server.

  When using RLKS Administration and Reporting Tool on
  non-english locale, the Actions button in server
  administration tab does not enumerate any user actions.
  

Problem conclusion

• This is a defect in RLKS Administration and Reporting tool.
  The issue has been resolved in RLKS 8.1.4.2 release.
