    * USERS AFFECTED:  The users of IBM WebSphere Application      *

    *                  - use AES encrypted passwords for client    *
    *                  commands such as stopServer/serverStatus    *
    *                  - applied PH34028 (8.5.5.20 and 9.0.5.8)    *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Due a bug in PH34028, the client        *
    *                      commands                                *
    *                      such as stopServer.sh/bat and           *
    *                      serverStatus.sh/bat do not work         *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    The commands are not able to find necessary information to
    decrypt the AES encrypted passwords.
    The client trace shows following output that says AES encryption
    is not enabled due to the lack of information.

Problem conclusion

  • The bug has been fixed.
