APAR status

Error description

  • Servlet caching is not inserted in the workflow chain even
    though a cachespec.xml exists for the web module.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Web applications using the default      *
    *                      context root, "/", cannot be cached.    *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    Dynacache ignores web applications using the "/" context root
    even though a cache policy exists in the cachespec.xml.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Dynacache will accept web applications using the default
    context root and cache the response output when a cache policy
    exists in the cachespec.xml.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 9.0.5.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
