Error description

• Customer wants to stop Auditing subsystem from doing hostname
  lookup for remote hosts and wants just the IP addresses logged.

  The audit record include remote hostname information that
  requires DNS lookup. It takes long time for the server to
  write audit records if DNS lookup takes long time.
  

Problem conclusion

• Following security custom property is introduced by this APAR.
  When the value is set to false, the audit records will not
  include the remote hostname.  It still includes ip address of
  the remote host.
  
  Custom Property:
  com.ibm.websphere.security.audit.includeHostName
  Value: false (Default is true)
  
  To set security custom properties, from the administrative
  console. Click Security > Global security > Custom properties.
  Then click New and add a new custom property and its
  associated value.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 9.0.5.2 and 8.5.5.17.  Please refer to the
  Recommended
  Updates
