Error description

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    RFC 4517, section 3.3.3 species specifies that the Boolean
    syntax is the following ABNF:
    Boolean = "TRUE" / "FALSE"
    ABNF literal strings are case insensitive, but it appears that
    several LDAP servers appear to have made the values case
    sensitive, so when lower-case Boolean values are sent to the
    server, they are rejected as they fail the syntax.

Problem conclusion

  • The code was updated to send upper-case boolean values to the
    LDAP server when updating boolean attributes.
