Error description
When any AD projects are built using the AD Build Client without the wsmetrics component enabled in the AD Batch Server, the ADI data collection process fails with a data not found error. The ADI data collection takes a look at all the projects specified and fails if any one does not have data. For example, if project 1 was built with wsmetrics enabled and project 2 was not,ADI should collect data for project 1 and give out a warning for project 2 stating that no data was found, but the overall collection should not fail.
Local fix
Workaround: Have all the projects re-built with wsmetrics component included.
Problem summary
If any of the AD projects built by the AD built client without static analysis metrics, the ADI data collection will fail the entire collection process even for those projects that do have metrics.
Problem conclusion
Strengthen the ADI collector tolerance for missing metrics resource: bypass AD projects without metric resources, log a warning, and continue data collection for other projects.
Temporary fix
Have all the projects re-built with wsmetrics component included.
