APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After applying a fixpack to ULB, the LB_PROMISCOUS value is
  lost due to the updated lbexecutor.AIX provided by the fixpack.

  On AIX, the LB_PROMISCOUS value set within lbexecutor.AIX is
  lost after a Fixpack update.
  

Problem conclusion

• ULB has implemented a change to lbexecutor.AIX.  It still
  has
  a default value, but if you wish to have a different value
  persisted, the script file looks for an lbexecutor.conf file
  within /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Edge folder.  If found, it will
  use
  the value provided there.
  Example:  LB_PROMISCOUS="1"
  
  This change is targeted for 8.5.5.17 and 9.0.5.2.
