Error description
When running tests without specifying a TEST id in JCL previous versions of Application Delivery Intelligence (ADI) would generate a human readable placeholder test id. Recent ADI version would generate random id that would not be easy to read inside the ADI UI.
Local fix
Problem summary
Because the ID was random it would be impossible to map it back to the file under test.
Problem conclusion
We restored the previous solution of generating an ID based on the file name plus as timestamp. Temporary fix Comments We strongly advise against using ADI this way as the generated test ids only identify that one specific occurrence of that one test at that one time. However, ADIs real value is to record the trend of running the same test case over and over again to compare changes over time. For that a test id needs to be specified by the end user then all occurrences of a test case as specific test will be mapped to the same test case, i.e. test id and trending information can be derived from it.
