Error description

  • When the application packages its own version of the XML parser
within the application, the below error is generated during the
application startup:

javax.xml.parsers.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider

Problem conclusion

  • The code was patched to prevent the application's parser
leaking into the server's code.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
