APAR status

Error description

  • When reconnecting with the primary
    LDAP server after a successful LDAP
    failover, a message is output to
    the log files indicating that it
    connected to the failover LDAP when
    it should indicate it reconnected
    with the primary LDAP server.

    'ldaps://failover-ldap.ibm.com:636' LDAP Server. Or,
    the user registry is able to ping the LDAP server successfully.

    When reconnecting with the primary
    LDAP server after a successful LDAP
    failover, a message is output to
    the log files indicating that it
    connected to the failover LDAP when
    it should indicate it reconnected
    with the primary LDAP server.
    The message may look like that below:

Problem conclusion

  • The message was updated to print out the correct LDAP server
    that is being connected to.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.5.5.17 and 9.0.5.2.  Please refer to the
