APAR status

Error description

  • Problem: The <dmgr_profile>/temp/wscache/installExtract folder
    is not being cleaned up after the deployment or after DMGR
    restart. This is applicable to webservices appliation only
    

Local fix

  • delete the dir manually after each deployment of the application
    that contains webservices

    When an application is deployed in a network deployment (ND)
    environment, some temporary files that are created under
    <dmgr_profile>/temp/wscache/installExtract are not cleaned up
    even after restarting the deployment manager.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This problem occurred because the Web services code was not
    deleting all the temporary files that are created when an
    application is deployed. The code is updated to cleanup all
    temporary files files created during application deployment.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.16 and 9.0.5.1.  Please refer to the
